Witch Please

Witch, Please is a fortnightly podcast about the Harry Potter world. In each episode the hosts, feminists and lady-scholars Hannah McGregor and Marcelle Kosman, take a deep dive into one of the Harry Potter books, tackling topics like Harry’s unreliable narration, Hermione’s feminist activism, and the outrageous burden of emotional labour that Mrs. Weasley takes on.

Hannah McGregor is the co-host of Witch, Please, a feminist podcast about the Harry Potter world, and the host of Secret Feminist Agenda, a podcast about how we enact our feminism in our everyday lives. She’s an Assistant Professor of Publishing at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada, where her research focuses on the intersection of publishing and social change, including podcasting as a form of publicly engaged scholarship.

Marcelle Kosman (sometimes spelled Marcel Kosman) is the co-host of Witch, Please, a feminist podcast about the Harry Potter world. She is *this close* to finishing her dissertation, which is an investigation of early Canadian women's science fiction and fantasy writing as a tool for the circulation of white feminist politics, and is an Edmonton-based writer, instructor, ideas generator, parent, and cat mom.
